Your hosts during your stay

Your hosts are always there for you should you need something. Hospitality and familial ambience were and always will be important aspects of farm life.

Philipp Gummerer

Philipp is usually out and about. Be it on the farm, with the animals or in the vineyard. If you can’t find him there, try his processing room or better said his “tinkering shed”. Trying out new things – innovation on the farm is his passion. Wine and “Speck” offer a lot of possibilities for experimentation. You might also be allowed to have a taste. If he’s not working on the farm or experimenting, you’ll find him entertaining the guests. Should you come across him when he’s got some spare time, he’ll gladly sit down and have a glass of “Blaterle” in the morning, or enjoy a glass of Portugieser and homemade “Speck” during “Marende” in the afternoon.

Christina Pezzei

Our senior manager “the soul of the house” and often also called “Christine”. She manages not only the rooms, but also our “Törggele” business and the house. Sometimes she also needs to keep an eye on her eldest son Philipp. As a guest you can have wonderful conversations with her and discuss various topics. She doesn’t drink wine, instead she’ll gladly have a cup of coffee.

Leon

Our farm dog Leon is part of the host family as well. Friendly and always ready to play he will be your welcoming committee upon arrival. Leon normally doesn’t drink wine either, but he can quickly be convinced to try meat of any kind. Even though his pleading eyes can get very big, we ask you not to give him anything, as we feed him often enough.
